Electronics + PlasticSpace-age flip clock, ticking again
A stalled flip clock with a cloudy case, serviced so it reads clean and keeps time.
Arrived with: a motor that would not start, sticky flaps, a hazed acrylic case, and a brittle cord.
The work: cleaned and lubricated the mechanism, freed and realigned the flaps, replaced the cord, and polished the case back to clear.
Result: smooth, quiet flips and a case you can see through again.
Bench note: flip clocks run on small motors. If yours hums but will not flip, switch it off. Running it stalled wears the gears.
