Restored by hand, built to last
The Mod Bench is a small restoration studio in Eastern Pennsylvania devoted to mid-century modern design. We work on the pieces that defined the era: furniture, flip clocks, lamps and fixtures, radios, receivers, and speakers.
Our approach is simple. Keep what is original, fix what is failing, and finish the work so it can be lived with every day. Wood, plastic, electronics, and metal all get the same care on the bench.

Tell us about your piece: what it is, roughly when it was made if you know, and what condition it is in. We will reply with a few questions, a ballpark estimate, and next steps. Photos help a lot, and we will ask for them by email.
